	About Villa Theodora

This is an old world villa in secluded village surroundings, renovated with every degree of modern comfort including central heating, air-conditioning, fans, and private pool. Aqualand, a large water park with pools, slides and rides for all ages is just over 1 km away. Beaches on both sides of the island are less than 5km distant.

Corfu Golf Club is only 4 km from the villa. Theatre, cinema, historic sites, museums are nearby.

Villa Theodora, an old rural home dating from early in the 19th century, is located in a peaceful cul-de-sac in the traditional centre of the village. It has been extensively enlarged and provided with modern amenities whilst preserving its old world charm, set in a beautiful secluded garden with patio and 10 by 5 metre pool.

The area is completely safe for children. Bakery, mini-market, pharmacy, tavernas and restaurants are within a short distance.

We are a small English-Greek family business totally committed to ensuring that our guests enjoy the holiday of their choice. Paul, Lula and Lionel all live very close to the villa and are on call twenty-four hours of the day, but we respect our guests' privacy and wait to be approached. Newcomers arrive as strangers, depart as friends. Nobody has ever left with a scowling face!

The villa is the venue for Agios Ioannis Music Week in early September every year. In the event of inclement weather the lounge seats forty-five as well as performers, without anybody sitting on the organist's lap, which gives some idea of its size. At Christmas, Easter and other festive occasions as many as sixteen sit for a meal in the kitchen-diner.

Corfu is not a large island and we are right in the centre. Because of our central location everything that you may need is within easy walking distance or only a short drive or bus journey away.

The pool and garden are open to the sun throughout the day, much of the patio from 10 a.m. onwards. Sun-beds and umbrellas are provided.
